Lake Superior Clock, 12" Diameter

Picture of undefined

Our topographical clock of Lake Superior begins with a bathymetric chart that depicts the precise layout of the lake’s floor. An artist creates the wood lake’s dimension by engraving the depth indicators on a piece of high-quality birch. The wood is hand-stained, and a precise outline of the lake’s shore is laser cut, etched with points of interest, and glued to the clock’s face for added depth.
