 Our 3D wood map of Maui features a base of cork and high-quality birch accents. Each piece begins with a bathymetric chart that depicts the ocean topography. An artist etches the water’s depths into the cork before adding a laser-cut piece of Baltic birch in the exact outline of the island’s unique shoreline. The nautical wood map features laser engravings in the wood’s surface of points of interest, major roads, and other prominent destinations that add to the detail and intricacy of this wood chart.
