Our topographical wood maps are expertly created using laser-cut layers of high-quality birch to mimic the water depths found on a bathymetric chart of the area. Once the layers are cut and glued to create dimension, an artist hand-stains the lake’s water before carving points of interest, landmarks, and roads into the map’s surface. The lake art is finished with a solid custom wood frame and a piece of durable, ultra-transparent acrylic for protection
